The Body Mechanics course defines and discusses the concepts of proper body and table mechanics while performing massage. This section teaches the massage therapist the following:health and nutrition, body mechanics, professional draping techniques, seated massage, and side lying massage. It will also present an overview of efficient and safe body mechanics, identifying correct body mechanics when: reaching, pushing and pulling and how to bend properly, to lift correctly and ultimately to avoid injuries and how to protect your back while working with a client.
