This course defines and discusses the principles of the endocrine system. Endocrine system uses hormones to communicate information over long distances with widespread effects. This course will define the functions of the endocrine system and how it affects the glands in the body to regulate many functions regulation of growth, development, metabolism, fluid balance; maintain homeostasis; contribute to reproduction. Retake the course as many times as needed to retain skills necessary.
